Surveys to help us develop a detailed understanding of the conditions of the Longfield site are continuing. These surveys will inform our detailed design work and construction programme before we begin construction on our main site.

Why now?
We are now working on a detailed plan and timetable to get to the start of construction, which will not be for some time yet. The earliest we expect to begin construction activity on the main site is mid-2025.
Surveys will inform our detailed design work and help us decide how we will approach some of our construction activity.
All activity on-site is being carried out in line with the requirements of the development consent for Longfield. This includes agreeing the details of the activities with your local councils prior to starting on-site.
